Taiwan on the fast lane
Creglingen, 08.01.2013 – Often Taiwan, Korea, Japan and other Asian countries are thrown into one big pot with China. This is – at least concerning the production of photovoltaic modules – not justified; because: especially between Taiwan and China as countries of production there are serious differences. While China always set its focus on the mass production of consumer goods and me-too products, Taiwan concentrated on the production of electronical components and the improvement of production processes. This different approach leads to an extremely high demand from China for Taiwanese experts. WINAICO asserts its position in a difficult market environment and looks back satisfied on the year 2012.

WINAICO modules pass TÜV Rheinland’s PID test
Reduction in performance of WINAICO modules of less than 1 %
Creglingen, 07.08.2012 – TÜV Rheinland has tested WINAICO’s WSP photovoltaic module series of Win Win Precision Technology Co., Ltd. from Taiwan with excellent result. Conventional solar systems have inherently differences in voltage between the system framework and solar cells. The differences can lead to unwanted leakage currents which successively corrode the polymers of the foils within the laminate during the life cycle. This can reduce the performance of the cells and cause a loss of yield. This effect is called potential-induced degradation (PID).

WINAICO explains why power from the sun still adds up
When purchasing modules: "always buy with an open eye" and good returns are still assured
Creglingen, 26.04.2012 - There has been a great deal of discussion regarding the federal government's decision to reduce the feed-in tariffs. DLG confirms ammonia resistance of WINAICO solar modules
Modules withstand the effects of barn air for at least 20 years Creglingen, 29.08.2011 – The polycrystalline module series WINAICO WSP by the Taiwanese module manufacturer Win Win Precision Technology Co., Ltd. has passed the FokusTest “Ammonia Resistance” of the German Agricultural Society (Deutsche Landwirtschaftsgesellschaft e.V., or DLG) and has received the DLG quality seal for the WINAICO WSP-2xxP6. Livestock farming can release emissions through smell, ammonia and dust particles. According to the DLG, more than 90 percent of ammonia emissions come from agriculture. These emissions can additionally accelerate the ageing of photovoltaic modules, which can lead to declining energy generation and thus to lower yields for the plant operator.
